I’m still here!

I know the blog’s been really quiet lately.  I’ve got a good excuse though – besides the miserable weather spell we had.  We moved this weekend!  So I have been completely preoccupied the last little while with packing, getting the utilities and everything lined up, and of course, moving.  But we are now in our new house and getting settled bit by bit.  I have some crazy good news that I’ll be ready to share soon!!!  But I’ll give you some clues because I’m just so super excited about it all.   Studio.  Newborns.   Natural light.   I’m thrilled – but not quite ready to spill all the beans yet.  So keep checking back!!

The weather seems to be a little more cooperative lately, so I’m hoping to get back on track with family outdoor sessions.  I have one today!  Unless it rains

Back to Business…

I’m back from our annual trip to Kelowna all rested up (well, kinda).  We had a great time!  The kids had non-stop fun the entire week – a beach, playground, and buddies all just steps out the door.  We stayed at these little cabins on the beach in Westbank and it’s just such a relaxing family vacation spot.  It was our third year there and the cabins will hopefully be open one more year (the land’s been sold to condo developers).  What makes it so great for me & my husband (besides getting to watch our kids entertain themselves outside for hours) is the friends we go with.  Lots of laughing (and of course a few Coronas) going on at the nightly fires on the beach.  We’re already looking forward to next year  Of course, now I want to move to BC again (that happens every time we go to BC) or get an RV so the kids can enjoy all sorts of outdoorsy stuff.

But it’s back to work this week (and the gym – I’m in poor, poor shape after missing almost 3 weeks).   Hope your family gets to enjoy your own great vacation this summer!
