The V Family

I’ve known this family for a while now – their daughter, Lilia, and my daughter are in dance class together.  I was lucky enough to photograph them last fall as well – their two girls are both in my website gallery.  These guys are lots of fun – I always have good chats with Felicia while we watch the girls (mis)behave in class.  Lilia has become quite the model – she’s just naturally “on” in front of the camera.  Her sister, Elise, is gorgeous too!  So we have lots of good shots from our photo session this morning.  Here’s a sneak peek for them…

Jessica – Maternity Session

I’ve got two photo sessions to post about this weekend – then that’s it until July!!  We’re heading to Kelowna next week for a family vacation (a little cabin on the beach… super fun for the kids… lots of great families to see again) .  I have a crazy amount of editing to do until then – but today was my last photo session until I get back.  I’ll start with the maternity session last night with Jessica & Shaun.  They’re expecting their baby in about 3 weeks and I’ll be visiting them again soon after to photograph their new little boy/girl.  Here’s a few of the images from last night.  Thanks guys – and good luck these last few weeks!

Q Family

I normally don’t post this many sneak peek images from a session, but I just could not help myself this time.  This was such a great combination – a super fun family, acres of land, and darn near perfect light.  Oh, and a late evening latte that is fueling my ability to work instead of sleep

I was worried that this session would have to be rescheduled due to the menacing cloud hanging over us earlier this evening, but I am sooo glad it didn’t rain.  Sure, it was a bit chillier than one would expect in June, but the light was great where we were – and I’ll take great light over warmth any day!  Except on vacation  This family was a lot of fun and had so many great spots on their property to work with.  I have some new fave images, that’s all I can say…
