Ian: Round 1

Well, it started off great.  Ian had just woken up from a nap and seemed quite happy.  Until about shot number 6 (see the second photo below).  He had serious objections to having his pictures taken today.   And hey, sometimes that happens.  I know there are some days when I would not want someone pointing a lens at me.  Ian’s mom tried everything to cheer him up, but nothing could keep him from crying again.  Don’t worry, Ian, you’ll see me again in a couple of weeks for round 2.  I’m sure you’ll be all smiles then…

If this cutie looks familiar, he is the littlest sibling from Party of Six.

 

 

 

 

Cindy + Ryan

Cindy is my little sister (in-law).  I’ve known her since she was 16 and I was…  a lot older than that.  She’s always been cool.  And she’s always my insider if I want to know what’s hip with the kids these days.  (She’s also a rock star babysitter who’s always available when we need her.  Gotta love that!)  Ryan’s been her boyfriend now for a few years and today I got to see just how great they are together.  They laugh A LOT together – which I think is so important in a relationship.  That’s what first attracted me to Cindy’s brother. My husband’s hilarious! At least I think so.  Anyway, when I needed to find a hip young couple to practice on, I thought of Cindy & Ryan.  We grabbed some peppermint lattes, headed to U of A and got to “work”.  They’re so cute together, hey?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Party of Six

When I first found out that today’s family photo session would involve 4 kids, I wasn’t sure what to expect.  I certainly didn’t think it would go as smoothly as it did, especially with the extra chilly weather today.  But these kids were great  - and sooo full of energy.   I could tell that they know how to have a good time together.  Thomas, Ella, Kate, and baby Ian.  I remembered all their names!
