What a great day! Halloween is just one more sleep away, the season premiere of 30 Rock is on tonight, and I get to tell you about the fun little photo session I had with Angela and her two kids. Oh yes, and their dog, GiGi. We walked around Beaumaris Lake for a bit and there were not one, but two photographers! Me, and Angela’s cute 4 year old daughter who brought her own cool camera. I have a lot of pictures of my own 2 kids. A lot. But since getting so busy this fall with taking photos of so many other wonderful kids, I totally forgot about my own! I almost missed an entire season! We had a free afternoon on Sunday so I helped my daughter put on her favorite new dress and I actually did her hair (ponytails instead of the usual “down like sleeping beauty” that she requests). I had the usual struggles with getting the younger one to stay in one spot for 5 seconds, but Barrett was totally into it. You might recognize these guys from the website.
I’m meeting some folks at Beaumaris Lake for a photo session later today. It’s only supposed to be 5 degrees, but at least that horrible wind isn’t around. I’ll post again after the session …
I met a great family on Sunday at their home in St. Albert. Their daughter was extremely cute and apparently in love with Webkinz. I haven’t introduced my 4 year old girl to this world yet, as I’m afraid she would become obsessed and constantly be hounding me to use my computer. It’s probably only a matter of time, though, (Christmas?) before she falls prey to those cute little things.
This family was a lot of fun. Their energetic labradoodle got in on the action, too! It was a great way to spend a Sunday morning…
